Performance Friction Brakes Australia, under the company name PFC (Aust) Pty Ltd, was formed in 2001 to be a part of the global distribution network of the Performance Friction Corporation.  In 2009, we changed our name to Performance Friction Brakes Australia.

On the back of the success of the Performance Friction disc rotors and the development work being done on a range of calipers at the time, Mike Edwards (Managing Director) believed that Australia could benefit from having a dedicated distribution warehouse, complete with the backup knowledge and technical support, to service our passenger vehicle, transport and mining industry, motorcycle and motorsport industries.

As your Performance Friction Brakes distributor, we continually strive to develop new product - the absolute best product - to suit the Australian vehicle market.

About Performance Friction Corporation ('PFC')

Performance Friction® brake calipers, disc rotors and pads are 100% American made in a state of the art production plant located in Clover, South Carolina.  With world-class manufacturing processes in place, our 200,000 square foot, 400 plus employee facility supplies major automotive retailers, thousands of brake installers and auto manufacturers in domestic and international markets.

PFC is global in nature with major distribution points based in North America, UK, Japan and Australia and a dealer network that continues to grow across more countries every year.

As a collective group, Performance Friction UK, Japan, Australia meet annually at Head Office in Clover, SC to develop new global strategies to keep PFC #1 in the world for brakes as a leadup to the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show in Orlando, Florida.
